Just another day in Paradise!!!

Well, today was my day again with my boys. I say my boys, because they feel like my own. Laura says they are not, but oh well, a girl can dream. It is true what they say about grandchildren. You love them as much as your own. I love being a mother, and I love being a memaw. It is a double blessing.
They spent the night with us last night, and Papa had them all in the bath tub. We should have gotten a bigger tub!!! They love to take a bath here.
Of course when we got up, we had our coffee together. They have a little glass cup with gold around the rim and tiny golden spoon to drink their coffee out of. It is mostly french vanilla cream. It is the only time we let them have coffee. It is a real treat for them. How simple!
We started out this morning with a walk around the block. By the time we started back they all wanted to be carried. We made it back tho to ride the tractor next. After the tractor ride we played on the swing and the trampoline.
Our next adventure was carving a pumpkin. Thomas took most of the pictures. He did pretty well. It was our first time to carve a pumpkin together. Usually we just color a face on our pumpkins. We roasted the seeds next. They were yummy.
After a brief nap we watched Beauty and the Beast. They all rested for a while in the rocker and on the couch. They all went home around 4:30. I'm pretty worn out. It was a great way to spend the day.
I am looking forward to tomorrow night at the Mexican Resturant. Will get to see my best buddies Lorie and Juju along with my family. Sometimes their families come too. It is always a great time. Blessings Memaw Barbie

I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your kind comments on my last post. What a sweetie you are. I have made so many wonderful friends through the blogging world. I do LOVE my bedroom color, at first when I was putting it on, I had one of those "uh oh" moments but it didn't last long. I guess we have good taste.

Have a blessed day.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

That's so funny--my kids love to take a bath in my parents huge bathtub. Too cute. Sounds like a great family day. So many people don't really enjoy children or grandchildren like that anymore. It's so great to hear you all did fun things together. Wendy
