I have been in Dallas at my parents this week. My dad is undergoing radiation and chemo for throat cancer. It is sure good to be home. It has been hard being so far from them during this time.
We have been blessed to be able to spend as much time together thru the years as we have. My parents have made great efforts to be at my house often.
I am thankful for my siblings here and Nicki in Chicago. She will be back in Dallas next week to stay a while. We are blessed to have one another.
I leave to go home on Monday evening. It will be a hard day.
Please keep them in your prayers. I will write more when I get home.
