They love to cook. Frosting a cake is one of their favorites!

I think that boy loves me as much as I love him.

Green eggs and ham.

Getting all cleaned up.

Can you see Laura and Ben in the photograph in the background? I think they were probably not quite 2 and 4. Laura's kids sure look like them don't they.

Just a few pics of our day yesterday. We got to play outside. It was about 65 degrees. Different story today. We have been about 35 all day long. Had some beautiful snow flakes this morning for about 5 minutes. We also got a few minutes of sleet. We might possibly get more tonight

We will surely be looking forward to spring won't we. We wouldn't enjoy spring so much if we never experienced winter. I do so love the change of seasons. It seems fresh every year.

Laura went to visit her Pawpaw today. He has steadily declined over the last few weeks. Somedays are better than others. My sister-in-law (who goes everyday to spend the day with him) said he had a good day yesterday. He was more alert, ate a good supper and was awake most of the day. We went last Monday and he never woke up for us. I think maybe they had given him a pain pill shortly before we got there. Laura called me when she left the VA home (where he lives) and she said he did not know who she was today. It broke my heart. She said "Pawpaw, you know me, I'm your favorite." and she is his favorite. I think she has spent more time with him than anybody. She is so good to stay in touch with everyone whether they are near or far. This is the first time he has not known who she was. Hope he has a good night.
I sure do miss my blogger friend Leanne. Keep in touch girl.
Enjoy your week. Blessings Memaw Barbie

I am so sorry about "PawPaw" and I know how hard that must have been for Laura yesterday when he didnt know her. I will be praying for him, for Laura, and for your family!
